In order to secure your account, we highly recommend you follow our advanced security guidelines.
Step 1: Set a highly secure and unique passcode.
Most people set the same username and password for different accounts they hold out of convenience. This allows anyone to easily hack into other's accounts if they gain access to just one account. As a result, it's important to ensure that your passwords are different for all your accounts.
To change your password, select login to "DASHBOARD" > "Setting" > "Security" > "Change Password" to set a highly complicated and secure passcode (include uppercase and lowercase letters and numbers).
Step 2: Set a Two-Factor Authentication for your VeryHash account
You can refer to <Set up my Google Authenticator> to set up your Two-Factor Authentication.
Once you’ve secured your Two-Factor Authentication on VeryHash, when you log in, the page will not only request your user passcode, but a 6-digit code given on your google authenticator (on your phone). With this Two-Factor Verification set, even when someone tries to log in with your username and password, they won’t be able to do so without your 6-digit authentication code.
This will also come into effect when you're withdrawing your coins to another platform, you’ll need your Two-Factor Authentication code to allow you to withdraw from your wallet. This will secure your funds even if someone gains access to your logged in webpage for any reason.
